50 Things to Do [Fall Edition]

Written by Sarah
Fall has always been my favorite season. I love the way the leaves look like they’ve been hand painted and dipped in a variety of reds, oranges, and yellows. I love the way the air blows in my face and the scent of pumpkins that trails through my neighborhood. I love wearing sweaters and drinking hot chocolate and sitting on the couch watching scary movies. There is simply nothing more perfect than fall. It’s too great of a time to waste by simply sitting inside and doing nothing. Because of this, I have compiled a list of 50 things you can do in the fall.

Happy Playlist

I'm a music addict. I feel that it's an incredibly powerful source of emotion, and can easily sway how I am feeling from day to day. That being said, I much prefer to be happy!! I can think of few things that help lift my spirits more than some quality tunes, so if thought I'd share some of my favorites with you.
Whether it's the message or the sunshine-y tempo, these are a few that help get me through the cloudy days.

Life With My Chronic Illness: From Struggle to Happiness

Written By Rachel Nielsen

I’ve found that having a chronic illness is much like losing someone very close to you. People will say they understand your pain, they’ll tell stories about how they’ve gone through it with their cousin’s aunt, and they’ll give advice, but no one will truly get what you’re feeling unless they go through it themselves. Some people affected by illness will draw into themselves and not talk to anyone for weeks or even months, save for a few close relatives and friends they can trust.

When Life Gives You Lemonade

Written by Sarah

I've been notorious for doing really dumb things.
I had one of these really dumb moments a couple months ago, when I went out for frozen yogurt with a couple of my friends. After purchasing my fro-yo, I asked the girl at the counter if I could have a cup for water. I had almost finished filling my cup when I realized my mistake: I had filled it full of lemonade.
